✦Process
Five phases,
fixed at the door.
The way we run engagements. The same five phases every time, with reviewable artefacts at each boundary. You can extend, refactor, or stop at any phase end — no awkward midweek conversations.
01
Discovery
Weeks 1 – 3
Understand your business, your audience, and the truth of the brief. Stakeholder interviews, content audit, competitive scan, AI readiness check. Most projects change shape here — and that's the point.
Artefacts
- Discovery brief everyone signs
- Stakeholder map
- Initial measurement plan
- Brief change-log
02
Strategy
Weeks 3 – 5
Decide the moves. A clear thesis, a measurable outcome, and the smallest scope that gets us there. Strategy isn't a deck — it's the contract for the rest of the build.
Artefacts
- Strategic brief + thesis
- User personas + journey
- Information architecture
- Tech architecture diagram
03
Design + Prototype
Weeks 5 – 12
Make the artefact. Working prototypes — Figma is the artboard, code is the spec. Tested with real users, refined against real constraints, ready to engineer.
Artefacts
- Design system in Figma + code
- Running interactive prototypes
- Component library
- Accessibility-tested patterns
04
Build + Ship
Weeks 10 – 22
Engineered, accessible, performant. Shipped behind feature flags so the rollout can stay calm. We run weekly preview deploys against your stakeholders the whole way.
Artefacts
- Production-grade codebase
- Test coverage matched to risk
- Observability + alerting
- Documented handoff
05
Measure + Iterate
Quarter onward
Outcomes monitored against the thesis. The work continues — every project is the first version of something better. We offer ongoing retainers for the next iterations.
Artefacts
- Live KPI dashboard
- Quarterly review
- Roadmap of the next iteration
- Maintenance plan
—Principles we hold
- One senior designer and one senior engineer on every project — same people from kick-off to launch.
- Weekly preview deploys, weekly demos. No surprises at week 12.
- Reviewable artefacts at the end of every phase. You can stop at any phase boundary.
- Fixed phase pricing. Hourly when you need it; never as the default.
- Senior staff in every meeting. No three-tier handoff.
